This has just been a week with problems! I just recently upgraded iJohnw.com over to the new Wordpress 2.5. It offers a visibly improved back end for managing blogs. The upgrade only took a few minutes and it was successful. The best new feature I love so far while I was playing around with it is the automatically upgrade your plugins you have installed! Man does that reduce a heck of a lot of overhead!
After being all excited about installing Service Pack 1, Vista SP1 has completely failed me! I installed it on both my desktop computer and my laptop. Everything was running great until I wanted to backup my files to my Western Digital MyBook Home Edition. That is when the troubles started!
Now, Vista keeps telling me “unknown hardware” after I plug the USB cable into the computer. I know these external hard drives are plug and play. It should be very simple to use. Just plug in the USB and start transferring files over! Unfortunately it wasn’t!
After troubleshooting this “unknown hardware” and looking for new drivers for it, I was just about to give up. I then decided to uninstall Vista SP1 on my laptop while I am waiting to talk to Microsoft Support through their online chat. After SP1 gets done uninstalling, Continue Reading »

As I was shooting video today around my area, I couldn’t help to notice where all these trees went?! It looks like they have all been chopped down and left to rot, but where are the new trees that people are suppose to replant?! Earth Day is just a little over a month away, but it never helps to replant trees! We do need them!
