Upgraded to Wordpress 2.5

This has just been a week with problems! I just recently upgraded iJohnw.com over to the new Wordpress 2.5. It offers a visibly improved back end for managing blogs. The upgrade only took a few minutes and it was successful. The best new feature I love so far while I was playing around with it is the automatically upgrade your plugins you have installed! Man does that reduce a heck of a lot of overhead!
Now the biggest problem right now with Wordpress 2.5 is media uploader for the new and improved gallery. I have no idea where it went?! After reading the forums over at Wordpress.org, it looks like many people are having the exact same issue as myself. So is this first bug in Wordpress 2.5? The above image (thanks to http://jeanegan.com/ for the image) shows where the image uploader should be located.
I have noticed one more thing. In the RC1 for 2.5, there was an add category option when you are writing a post. I see that has disappeared too. Is that something in the new Wordpress 2.5? or another bug?
Is anyone else having this exact same issue? Is there a fix for it yet?! HELP!
Update 1 Hour Later: I have found the plugin that is causing this problem. Unfortunately, it was one of the plugins I love! ViddlerCompanion was giving me those issues as described above. I am going to have to email them and let me know, and for now I <3 Wordpress 2.5! Also, thank you Otto for your suggestion on figuring out how to solve this problem!

This happens when you have an older plugin interfering with the JavaScript.
I encountered this problem with an older version of WP-Amazon, but any plugin loading its own jQuery can cause the issue.
Disable your plugins and see if the buttons appear. If so, reactivate one by one until they don’t appear any more. Upgrade all your plugins as well.
Thanks Otto! I appreciate you commenting and letting me know! I just figured it out! and posted an update to which plugin was causing the issue!
