What a great day for Nintendo and the Wii! These new Wii Fits have been selling like hot cakes! All the online stores from Best Buy, Toys R Us, Amazon, and Gamestop are all sold out. The stores are even sold out! I really didn’t think the Wii Fit was going to be this big of a game, but after huge sales in Europe and Japan, I knew it was going to be a hot seller. I did preorder my Wii Fit at Gamestop, and it will be in on the 2nd shipment on May 23. However, I couldn’t wait for another two days. The most anticipated accessory for the Wii is just around the corner! I actually see it peeking around. It is almost here!

The Wii Fit is here in another two days. The United States launch date is on May 21st. New York only had their launch date today at the Nintendo store. After watching all the videos online about Mario Kart for the Wii, I drove myself over to the local Gamestop to pick up the latest and HOTEST game for the Wii! Let me tell you that it is AWESOME!

First off, I had to get an extra control wheel to play against someone. There was already one packaged with the game. The little Wii mote fits in sideways on the wheel to allow you to feel like you are actually controlling the vehicle! The 2 button is for gas while the 1 is for brakes. The level of interaction is amazing compared to other handheld controller games on the Xbox or PS3.  Continue Reading »
