What a great ending last night to American Idol! I hope you all voted for your favorite Idol!
This morning, the predictions from Dial Idol show David Cook with a considerable lead to be the next winner as American Idol. Dial Idol makes these predictions based on the busy signals.
David Cook - 40.9
David Archuleta - 29.3
This just might be enough to say David Cook will be the winner after David Archuleta brought his A game and had a knock out performance last night! Continue Reading »

Tonight is the final night for the two Davids to sing their hearts out to win over America. We do know that David will win on Wednesday night…but what David?
This has been an awesome season of American Idol. It is hard to believe we are down to two contestants. I have to give my full support tonight for David Archuleta. I think his voice is wonderful, and he has so much passion and talent for singing. I know we will see him a lot more in the future even if there is a sad Wednesday night if David Cook wins American Idol. How can we all help David Archuleta win? VOTE! Continue Reading »

What is better than having home grown organic vegetables in your back yard? I really don’t think anything!
This year will be the second attempt at growing a garden in a small little fenced in backyard. Last year it didn’t turn out so well with some of the vegetables. I think a couple problems was the clay dirt and not full sunlight in spots around the whole back yard. This year I tried to fix those issues. Continue Reading »

The most anticipated accessory for the Wii is just around the corner! I actually see it peeking around. It is almost here!
The Wii Fit is here in another two days. The United States launch date is on May 21st. New York only had their launch date today at the Nintendo store. If you were lucky, you could have picked up a Wii Fit or played with it on the streets of New York. They had a whole bunch of tents set out for people to test it out! Continue Reading »

After a lot of research and debating with myself, I decided I would give Disqus (pronounced discuss) a try for my blog comments. I love the whole idea of social interaction with the commenting system, but there are some features I would love to see added into Disqus.
The first thing is video commenting didn’t go away with Disqus. Seesmic partnered with Disqus to allow video comments into the commenting system. Allow, I do wish Viddler was allowed into the comments too. Maybe an option to choose either service to use as video comments? Continue Reading »

I came across this awesome article yesterday from tracking the word Prius on twitter. HybridCars.com explains what you need to know and how to get the hypermilers gas mileage of 70 mpg or more with your Prius!
I use some of these same techniques and my gas mileage is roughly around 55 - 60 mpg. I do a lot of highway traveling so it tends to be more around 55 mph. They do say to set your cruise at 55 mph on the highway. How many of you set it at 55? I know I don’t. I think I need to start implementing that into my driving. Continue Reading »

I have been in search for some healthy snack recipes to help keep away the hunger in the early afternoon and keep me satisfied until dinner. I also wanted something that was a great pick me up to make it through the rest of the day! With all of this in mind, it had to be healthy!
I was shown some awesome recipes from Ellie Krieger. One of her snacks for the day was maple glazed walnuts. The maple does a little extra and helps satisfy my extremely sweet teeth! Walnuts are also the only nut with the most amount of omega 3 fatty acids. These fats are essential for the body and most people need more of this type of fat. Continue Reading »

Today I noticed Apple has just updated their online store very secretly to reflect the status of the 8GB and 16GB iPhone. They now are currently unavailable! We all know iPhone 2.0 is coming out very soon but no exact dates. I tried to get some info out of the lady from Apple’s online chat, but nothing good came out of it! Here is our short little conversation. Continue Reading »
